About Hotel de Keizerskroon Hoorn

The 3-star hotel De Keizerskroon is located in the centre of Hoorn, ideal for anyone who enjoys Dutch hospitality. It is an excellent starting point from which to explore all the sights of Hoorn and of course Amsterdam, which is only 35 minutes away.

The building in which our hotel is located obtained its official licenses in 1881. Hoorn without The Emperor's Crown is nowadays something that the locals cannot imagine.

Our 25 rooms are all non-smoking, cosy and the size you can expect from an urban, three star hotel. Each room has its own facilities, toilet, shower / bath and hairdryer. In addition, all rooms are standard equipped with a flat-screen television and free wireless internet.

The city of Hoorn is as one of the 6 original VOC-cities a real tourist attraction. The many monumental buildings, various museums and the harbour make Hoorn so incredibly beautiful. A new beach is also under construction, which reflects the ambitions of Hoorn well. It will be ready around 2023.

In addition, Hoorn is often seen as a small Amsterdam. The historical buildings and general experience show many similarities. When the weather is nice, a walk along the lake is an absolute must, this gives a breathtaking view.

There is a direct train to and from Amsterdam airport, only 40 minutes away.
